List of False Teachers and Ministries/Organizations

Over the past months, we’ve had several people contact us, asking us where to find the list we compiled a few years ago of false teachers, ministries and organizations to be aware of. The list can be found here:

UPDATE: this list has moved here.

Hopefully by making this link available in a blog article, it will make the list easier for you to find. 🙂

We have a few thoughts to add before you view that list, however (these thoughts are basically a “copy/paste” from what has already been written on the above-linked page).

The original purpose of the list we compiled a few years ago was to give an alphabetical arrangement of particular ministries/businesses, teachers, leaders, and schools for you to research and decide for yourself if what they teach is Biblical and Godly or not. When we originally compiled the list, it wasn’t with the “big name” charismatic leaders in mind, such as Benny Hinn or Kim Clement. But we were talking about the “smaller, less well-known” people who have a tendency to be even more esoteric and far-out-there with their theology than even the “regular” charismatics.

But please keep this in mind: the charismatic movement originates from Satan himself, and is one of the major ways the demonic are infiltrating Christianity, causing many people to reject and turn away from their faith!

It should be clear to the discerning Christian that this demonic infection is not limited to just a few charismatic denominations or individuals. This demonic, charismatic mindset is quickly spreading throughout the entirety of Christendom, bringing with it false doctrines, false teachers, and a focus on the supernatural… on gifts and abilities… on spiritual experiences… on spiritual manifestations… on what can be seen and felt… on the esoteric and hidden… on following after this man or that woman, or this ministry or that teaching… on everything except the properly exegeted Word of God and the simple, pure gospel of Jesus Christ! Whether Presbyterian or Lutheran or Church of Christ or Apostolic, this ungodly mindset has infiltrated and infected all denominations to varying degrees, and it will continue until no single church is left untouched.

So please remember that our list is not comprehensive! Just because someone’s name isn’t on the list we made, doesn’t mean you can consider them “safe.” Generally speaking, any leader or “minister” (by whatever title they give themselves… whether apostle, prophet, pastor, etc) that is in the charismatic movement to any degree at all, or who has a charismatic mindset regardless of what denomination they affiliate with, should be suspect, as the theology that comes out of such charismatic-minded individuals is of Satan (refer to the above paragraph for the simplest explanation of why their theology is of Satan… and read our book for a more thorough explanation).

Furthermore, many of the people and ministries/organizations we listed have many different websites, many different “ministries” or branches within their “ministries,” and many are interconnected with one another’s “ministries,” or have even come about as an offshoot of another, so it’s hard to keep up with everything.

Satan’s Plan is a HUGE web of deception that is spreading like cancer, and even if we wanted the depressing job of keeping up with every single individual or ministry/business that is being used to spread false doctrine (and no, it’s not the mission of this blog to keep up with them…), it’s absolutely impossible. So, we list just a few of the ones that we are familiar with, either personally, or through our subsequent research.

We plan to keep the list updated periodically as time permits, adding the names of such individuals and their affiliated ministries/businesses as we come across them, or remember about them, or otherwise become aware of them, but again… the list is not a complete, comprehensive list of people who are teaching false doctrine.

In order to discern for yourself what each individual/ministry/organization is teaching and promoting, don’t rely on our list or on any other list. Instead, line up their teachings, their character, and their actions with the properly exegeted Word of God, and then it should be clear if what they are teaching and promoting is of God or not.

This is what “testing the spirits” is all about.

  1. This short article is outstanding! It is simply correct, utterly correct! Thank you! A few years ago I used to communicate with Carolyn when she was accessible. I sincerely miss that. However, I certainly do understand. I have followed both of you for several years now. I totally understand all that you say. One of my grandfathers practiced the “black arts” as the rest of his family called it. He was evil to the core. I could write many pages about all of that and my own experiences growing up. It is that history that allows me to understand all that the two of you write. I know, I really do know. However, Jesus Christ is MY Savior.

  2. Shared with a friend at church as we recently experienced this (i suspected but wasnt sure until recently) a woman at our church was attending quite a while who bought into charismatic teachings that you post about and i had in the past tried to show her scripture in context why she was believing lies (in love of course) but she ended up distancing herself from me after, and i was told dhe prophesied over my pastor that she wassupposefd to be doing a ministry at our church but that he had to accept/receive this “prophecy” before she could, well that did not end up happening praise God she moved out of state. I only knew minimal details and i was praying God would protect the minds and hearts of our pastor, elders and deacons to not fall into this type of deception and i only found out later more of what was happening (i didnt ask its not my place) but i was so thankful God prevented that satanic garbage coming into my church. I lead worship at our church and i see so much deception it was killing me to think my little church i may have had to leave. I too used to talk with Carolyn and i miss communicating with her as well but I understand why she’s pulled back, i pray for you both to endure in your walk with Jesus, and am thankful theres credible resources to point people to the lies of the charismatic movement (and that you point to the Word in its correct context).

    1. Aside from a solid foundation in sound Biblical doctrine, of course, what pastors (and elders, deacons, etc) need the most is prayer. Praise God for people like you who pray for them!

What they need second (again, aside from a solid Biblical foundation) is EDUCATION that is based upon the Word of God, so that they might build their discernment. So many don’t see the enemy coming. To this end, we pray the info on our website is helpful.

Unfortunately, it seems that many pastors or church leaders do not want to pay attention to our info. I pray that changes soon.

Thanks for reading and for taking the time to comment! ❤️😊

    2. And, by the way, we do always strive to point to the Word of God in correct context. If we ever fall short of this (as we ALL do at times), I hope people will come to us in love and share with us our error so that we can study the Word for ourselves and correct ourselves accordingly.
